Cardinal and Gold

We think we have to do something to be grateful or something has to be done in order for us to be grateful, when gratitude is a state of being. ~ Iyanla Vanzant

I am thankful for our long awaited trip to the Des Moines Art Center.  There is a new, interactive exhibit and it was worth the wait. (I didn't want to fight the crowds when it first opened) The exhibit is called Drawing in Space and two artists and one artist collective came in to the center and created art using tape. The boys favorite is pictured above. The piece is created using packing tape and is really quite amazing. Check it out before it is gone on January 21.

Christopher is thankful for a one day work week.

Harrison is thankful that he got to see Georges Niang tonight. (Niang, former ISU player, plays for the Warriors G League, the Santa Cruz Warriors and they were in town to play our Iowa Wolves. It was ISU Alumni night and we had a great time.)

Bennett is thankful to go to the Iowa Wolves game.
