I'm a GREAT mom

So, I am the best mom.  I mean, come on.  What's not perfect about me?  There are a lot of great things I could list to be specific, but the one that comes to mind today is humiliating my children.  I usually point and laugh at strangers, so why not my precious babies?  I picture Harrison bringing his first prom date home to take pictures before they leave on their most special night.  He rushes to the bathroom to make that final check before leaving.  He comes out and I hug him and take a couple of pictures and then, as they get in the car, I say "Have a great night!  Good thing you have that toilet paper stuck to your shoe in case of emergencies!"  You know, typical behavior for any good parent.

Today's humiliation falls a little short as Miles is probably to young to remember the tears coming to my eyes as I laughed at him.  Miles loves the water bottles.  I think I have mentioned this before.  He can't squirt them, but he sucks the water out.  Well, lately he has been trying to see what all the fuss is about when it comes to squirting.  Today he figured it out.  That's really not that funny, is it?  Well, the only way he has figured out how to squirt water is with the nozzle pointed directly at his face.  The first time I saw him do it I was mildly amused.  I gently showed him a way that would be a little more pleasant for him, but it was not successful.  He walked away from me and did it again.  And then, it was like he didn't know what was squirting him in the face.  He was running around the deck trying to get away from this menace only to continue to squirt himself in the face.  I almost couldn't get out of my chair to help the poor little fellow, I was laughing so hard.  To his credit, he never got mad and cried, he just got this hysterical, shocked look on his face and he kept throwing his head back trying to get away from the squirting water.  Finally I had to take the water bottle away.  I was laughing so hard I could hardly breath and Miles was on the brink of getting really mad at someone.  One of us was going to get hurt.

I know you wonder why Andy and Claudia allow me to watch their child knowing the type of person I am.  I honestly don't have an answer.  Sure is fun though!
